Platform games (platformers) are games of skill, which rely on moving the hero over many varied levels consisting of multi-level platforms, avoiding all dangers in the form of traps and killing or avoiding opponents, as well as collecting prizes and additions in the form of money, precious stones, extra lives or super powers.
